You will find lots (and I mean lots) of at 永久脫毛 which personally I wasn’t interested in. In terms of lasers and intense skincare treatments I am just one of those people who likes to get a professional to work their magic on me, as opposed to trying to become one by getting a kit from my local drug store. I visited a clinic in my hometown which had recently opened for some treatments.
I went to about 2 sessions, but didn’t see any results – AT ALL. So, it had been fair to say I wasn’t going to waste any further money. Strike one. FYI – I understand individuals who have had treatments of IPL done (mainly all Asian/Indian skin types) and i also have already been told it takes lots of sessions to view results. I are also told by my current laser technician (and head trainer & educator of Polaris Hair Laser Removal) that IPL will not focus on Indian skin and it has short term benefits. It basically isn’t the most effective laser for very long term hair-free fuss.
The next occasion round, I decided to go for any YAG laser but to my luck, my technician had blagged her way into making me think she was doing us a favour. If in reality, her so named YAG laser was even more of an IPL treatment then anything else. I will tell you that it made my hair a bit fainter, but nothing drastic – and that i had at least 6 sessions. Once again, I wasted not just my amount of time in travel but a lot of money! Strike two.
Within the last 5 months or so We have been visiting a lovely laser technician, who lucky for me, is located in the same county as me! I had told her all of the problems We have had previously with hair laser removal and she gave me her honest and professional advice. She explained to me that IPL isn’t extremely effective (especially on Asian skin) for 永久脫毛. It really works whilst you will get it done but provide annually roughly and you will see your the growth of hair coming back. The penetration from the laser isn’t as deep and doesn’t target the hair follicle for the extent being a YAG laser does.
I then explained the so-called YAG laser treatment I was getting before coming to her. That is when she did a bit digging (in her spare time) and informed me that I had been missold my laser treatment. The laser which I was getting done was more much like IPL compared to a proper YAG laser. It had been even more of a diode – basically which means that I wasn’t going to get exactly the same results has I would personally have with a proper or must i say real YAG laser!
She then told me information on her laser. The laser she uses will be the Long Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser by Polaris Medical. She is an expert educator/trainer for this laser and has been doing the market for 20 years – she basically knows her shiz.
This laser can be used for hair elimination of hair on all skin types, light to dark. One of many features of this laser is the fact that its melanin absorption is quite low. Melanin is exactly what gives the skin it’s colour. The more melanin halbfl have, the darker the skin and vice versa. Due to it’s low absorption from it, there is certainly hardly any risk of the epidermis to have damaged by hyper/hypo pigmentation. Because of this the long pulsed Nd:Yag lasers is idea for for hair removal on medium to dark skin!
I need to go with clean, lotion/potion free, make-up free, perfume/deoderant free and hair free. Yep, so that you need to shave before hand (everywhere you would like to target!). This is and so the laser can arrive at the folicle without the hair strands getting in the way.
We have learnt the hard way by accidentally having some perfume in my neck and also the laser burning my skin – luckily it wasn’t that bad (my Elizabeth Adren Eight Hour Cream sorted me out!). However, this can be common and may happen.
During Laser Treatment
During the laser session, the part/s of the body are sectioned off (as you can see inside the picture above). The 永久脫毛 can be used having an air-conditioning type cooling tube which can be hovered on the area of your skin since it is getting lasered – this can be so you don’t experience the heat. The sensation of having this done is similar to someone poking you using a needle. Depending on your pain threshold and/or the location you possibly will not feel it at all.
